a year before I became the vicedirector of the Philosophical Institute of the AMU Poznań. After being invited by the Polish Foreign Ministry, I accepted the position of the scientific representative (embassy counseller) in the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Germany in the year 1996. In 2001 I returned to Poznań to continue my philosophical investigations after having spent 5 years in the polish diplomacy (3 in Cologne and 2 in Berlin). In 2002 I became professor at the University of Poznań. Three years later I published my third book: "The Hermeneutical Turn of Philosophy" (Hermeneutyczny zwrot filozofii, Poznań University Press 2005).

I took part in over 30 national and international congresses and conferences; I myself organized 10 of them. I have given lectures at the Universities of Cologne, Erlangen, Freiburg, Siegen, Stettin. Since 2003 I have been a member of the Committee for Philosophical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (KNF PAN) in Warsaw and since 2004 - Vicepresident of the International Hegel-Society in Berlin. In 2003, as a founding member of the Polish Society for Phenomenology, I became the editor-in-chief of "Fenomenologia", the Yearbook of the Society. I am a member of the Advisory Boards of 3 philosophical magazines: "Principia" (Cracow), "Przegląd Filozoficzny" (Warsaw) and "Analiza & Egzystencja" (Szczecin), as well as the Co-Editor of Hegel-Forschungen and  Hegel-Jahrbücher  (both:  Academia  Verlag in
