Ethics and Hermeneutics - Towards a hermeneutically motivated Ethics

The hermeneutical turn of the European philosophy that I investigated in my last book (Hermenutyczny zwrot filozofii, Wyd. Naukowe UAM Poznań 2005) introduced a huge change in our philosophical thinking which has become deeply anti-metaphysical, in many meanings of the word. We can describe the change using G.Vattimo's word of >debolezza del'essere< (the so-called Weakening of the Being), through leaving a substantialistical world of view and going to the descriptivic and interpretational one. It was mostly the impact of this change on the theoretical philosophy that has been researched till now. I would like to rethink the philosophical ethics from the hermeneutical perspective, which is neither a metaphysical nor a relativist one.
